On the occasion of International Clinical Trials Day, the Pure Clinical team participated in the 11th edition of the “Clinical Trials Are for You” conference – a key event dedicated to the future of clinical research in Poland and Europe. This year’s central topic was the role of artificial intelligence.
Artificial Intelligence and Clinical Trials
Fryderyk Janiak, Business Development Manager at Pure Clinical, addressed three central questions discussed during the panels: how AI can be effectively applied in clinical research, the critical role of experienced professionals in ensuring compliance, and how Europe can remain an innovation leader while complying with the AI Act framework.
Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM)
Tatiana Dolińska, Clinical Research Scientist at Pure Clinical, spoke on RBQM and emphasized that quality starts at the planning stage and requires continuous monitoring. In line with ICH GCP (R3), quality assurance is a shared responsibility between sponsors and CROs.
Streamlining Procedures and GDPR Standardization
Another important topic discussed during the conference was simplifying administrative procedures. A noteworthy initiative involves INFARMA’s cooperation with industry partners to standardize GDPR documentation—an effort that may significantly support the contracting process in the MedTech sector.
We thank the organizers for the opportunity to participate and for the insightful conversations.
